5.0.2 Update for Macintosh |
| EndNote 5.0.2 is a free update for users of EndNote 5.0. The changes in version 5.0.2 are bug fixes only. There are no new features, except for the ability to turn off Instant Formatting in new Microsoft Word documents by default.
CHANGES IN ENDNOTE 5.0.2 (MACINTOSH)
- Ability to preserve Instant Formatting default settings for all documents. Due to user requests, we have added this feature.
- Mac: Crashing, Type 1, Type 2 errors when formatting papers with CWYW.
- Mac/Win: Freezing when inserting a citation.
- "This Command is Not Available because a Document Window is not active" errors when choosing any CWYW command from Word's "Tools" menu
- Bibliography disappears when printing if "Update Field Codes" is selected in the Print Option dialog or activated.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Download the updater.
- Exit all programs.
- Double click the "EndNote 5 Updater"
- Reboot your machine.
You should no longer experience the Type 1, Type 2, or freezing problems.
