Who can use the Updater?
You must already have EndNote Plus 2.1-2.1.3 installed in order to use the Updater. If you are a registered user of EndNote Plus 2.0.x and did not receive your 2.1 upgrade, you can get an upgrade to 2.2 sent to you for free; upgrades from versions prior to 2.0 will require payment.

What's New in EndNote Plus 2.2?
EndNote Plus 2.2 is an interim release including only the following changes to the program since version 2.1.3:

• Show Record Numbers command
  Choose Show Record Numbers from EndNote's Edit menu to display the record number for each of the references in the Library window. That command changes to Hide Record Numbers when the record numbers are displayed.

• Conversion Options for Reference Manager® Files
  Reference Manager files (version 7 or earlier) can now be opened directly and converted into EndNote libraries. EndNote Plus 2.2 can also convert Reference Manager citations in word processing documents into EndNote citations so that the documents can be formatted with EndNote Plus. See the "RM Guide" (included with the updaters) for instructions.

• Improvements in Formatting of Nisus® Files
  EndNote Plus 2.2 can format Nisus files and retain cross-reference links and multiple Nisus styles used in the document.

• Faster Formatting Using the Add-in to Format Citations in Word 6 Footnotes
  The EndNote Add-in 2.1 was slow when formatting citations in Word 6 footnotes. This version of the Add-in is significantly faster for this process
